Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Effective 19 September 2026.

This privacy notice explains how Adaptive Intelligence (“Adaptive Intelligence”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit adaptivepl.com or contact us. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.

1. What personal data we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us:

  • Enquiry data you submit through our contact form: your name, work email address, organisation (optional) and the message you write.
  • Data you send by email if you write to us directly at contact@adaptivepl.com.

We do not knowingly collect data from children (anyone under 18). If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

1a. Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary cookies that make the site work are always active and do not track you. We also use, only with your consent, the following:

  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4): to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location.
  • Marketing (Meta Pixel and related advertising signals): to measure and improve our advertising.

None of these load until you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode, so these tools stay disabled until you opt in.

2. Why we use it (purpose)

We use your personal data only to respond to your enquiry, have a conversation about your needs, and follow up about our services. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

3. The basis on which we process it

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the contact form, or by emailing us. Your consent is specific to the purposes above. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights” below); withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers (Data Processors) who help us operate, and only as needed:

  • Our website host, which stores and serves the site and processes the contact form on our behalf.
  • Our email provider (Google / Gmail), through which we receive and reply to your enquiry.

We may disclose data if required by law. We do not transfer your data outside India except through these standard service providers, in line with the DPDP Act.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, after which we delete it. We delete it sooner if you ask us to and we have no legal reason to keep it.

6. How we protect it

We apply reasonable security safeguards to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including serving the site over HTTPS and limiting who can see enquiries. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously and will notify the Data Protection Board and affected persons of a personal data breach as required by the DPDP Act.

7. Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed;
  • Withdraw your consent at any time;
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to;
  • Raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
